 Construction on New Crosswalk Improvements

to Begin in Historic Dublin

Construction will begin on crosswalk improvements in Historic Dublin on Monday, August 22 according to City of Dublin City Engineer Paul Hammersmith.

"We continue to focus on pedestrian safety in the Historic Dublin," city engineer Paul Hammersmith said. "These crosswalk improvements at North High Street, South High Street and Bridge Street will make the crosswalks more visible to both pedestrians using them and drivers."

Tuesday is the HDBA general meeting for the business owners and property owners in the Historic District.

Who: Business owners and property owners in the Historic District

What: District "Neighborhood" Meeting

When: Tuesday, April 5th, at 8:30 a.m.

Where: Dublin Public Library meeting room

Why: Updates will be provided regarding events, parking, safety, and beautification taking place in the Historic District

Duration: 60 Minutes

These meetings take place once per month. You are encouraged to attend. The meetings early in the year set the agenda for the balance of the year.

Do the D.A.S.H.!

May is Historic Preservation Month, and what better way to celebrate it than to "Do The D.A.S.H." in Dublin! (that's the Dublin Architectural Scavenger Hunt).  The DASH kicks off May first and runs all month long.  Entry forms can be downloaded at historicdublin.org or picked up at HDBA-member businesses starting May 1st.
